Ensuring Student Safety at Leading Note Studios

At Leading Note Studios, the well-being of our students, staff, and teachers is our top priority. Through our Family Safety Plan, we’ve built a secure and transparent environment that gives parents peace of mind while students thrive.

A hallway with several small rooms, each labeled with signs indicating room functions such as piano, guitar, and semi, with a view into a music practice room at the end of the hall.

Transparent Teaching Spaces:

All classrooms feature glass windows on the doors. This balance of privacy and visibility helps students feel comfortable while giving parents the confidence of knowing they can observe at any time.

Dedicated Office Staff:

Our front desk team is always on duty during lessons, including evening hours. This ensures students are never left unsupervised and that support is always available.

Comprehensive Security Measures

Student safety is a top priority at Leading Note Studios, which is why we have multiple layers of security throughout our facilities. Security cameras are installed throughout our studios, including instructional and common areas, providing an additional level of oversight and accountability.

Our camera system works alongside our other safety practices—including classroom visibility, attentive front desk staff, employee background checks, Live Scan fingerprinting, and our open-door policy—to help us maintain a safe, transparent environment for every student.

We want parents to feel confident knowing that safety is built into the way our studios operate every day.

Thorough Background Checks & Safety Training

Every teacher and staff member at Leading Note Studios goes through extensive screening and safety training to help us maintain a secure environment for our students and families.

Our safety requirements include:

  • National Offender Search

  • Statewide Criminal Background Check

  • National Criminal Background Check

  • Social Security Number Verification

  • Safety training for all employees

  • First Aid & CPR Training completed by many members of our team

We believe student safety goes beyond a background check. By combining comprehensive employee screening, ongoing safety training, transparent classrooms, security cameras, and attentive front desk staff, we create multiple layers of protection for every student who walks through our doors.

Our goal is simple: parents should feel confident that their children are learning in a safe, professional, and caring environment.

Parents are always welcome to sit in on lessons. This approach keeps families actively engaged while reinforcing transparency and trust..
